LJC Faith Statement III. MAN We believe that all people are the special creation of God, created in His own image. We believe that man was originally sinless and was in loving relationship with God. We believe that man sinned against God by choosing his own desire over God. We believe that all men are born as sinners and therefore are under God’s wrath and judgment. We believe that because of their sins all men are in need of salvation. We believe that God loves all men and wants all men to be saved. We believe that in spite of their sins, men can be saved and be restored in a loving relationship with God by Christ’s redemptive act, which is the cross.
