LJC Faith Statement IV. SALVATION We believe that we can be saved only by believing in Jesus Christ as our Lord and Savior. We believe that Jesus died on the cross as the atonement of our sins. We believe that all our sins are forgiven by the blood Jesus has shed on the cross. We believe that we are saved not by our deeds but by grace through faith. We believe that the moment we believe in Jesus Christ, we died to sin and are born again as God’s children. We believe that those who believe in Christ will have eternal life and inherit the Kingdom of God.
